What is Composite Bonding?

Composite bonding involves placing small amounts of tooth coloured resin onto each tooth. It can be used to repair chipped, cracked, or discoloured teeth, close gaps, and even reshape teeth it. This is then artistically sculpted into the perfect shape to create whatever appearance you are looking for and then hardened with a blue light to bond it to your tooth.

The composite is then polished up to a high shine to ensure it looks as gleaming as possible and that you can’t see the join between your natural tooth and the composite.

How long does Composite Bonding typically last?

With proper care, composite bonding typically lasts between 5 to 10 years. However, the longevity can vary depending on factors such as oral hygiene practices, dietary habits, and the location of the bonding in the mouth. We provide comprehensive maintenance tips and guidelines upon completion of your treatment to help you maximise the longevity of your composite bonding.

We offer two types of composite bonding:

Full Composite Bonding (composite veneers) – £300/tooth or (From £6.30/tooth per month*)
Composite veneers involve applying composite over the entire surface of the tooth. Commonly used to close spaces, mask mild crowding and for full smile makeovers.

Composite Edge Bonding – £245/tooth or (From £5.03/tooth per month*)
Composite edge bonding involves applying composite just to the edges of the teeth. Commonly used following teeth straightening to perfect the smile, correct uneven and chipped edges and to level the edges of multiple teeth

We do offer smile packages which offer discounts on common combinations of smile transformation treatments.

We will complete a full check-up during your consultation and create a plan to make sure your teeth and gums are healthy if necessary. We will also discuss in detail the results you’re looking to achieve and advise on the best treatment plan to get there.
